Basic Stringing class covers all the
instructions
needed to string and finish necklaces or bracelets.
You will learn two different stringing techniques,
and get an overview of jewelry-making materials,
tools, findings and components so that you can design
and make a professional-looking jewelry. You will also
learn how to use crimp beads, knots, clam-shell knot-
covers, and other kinds of findings available. Includes
hands-on instructions on using various jewelerís tools.
You will finish and take home two
to three bracelets,
which you design and finish!

Basic Earrings class covers the various methods to
make hanging earrings on wire hooks or lever backs.
learn
Learn about the
different tools and components needed to
make a professional-looking
pair of earrings. Earring design
is also discussed.
You will learn the proper way to work
with wire, how to
create loops, wrapped rings, and how to
attach headpins to earrings. Includes practical
instructions in using various jeweler's tools for
invaluable experience.
You
will take home two or three pairs of earrings,
which
you design and finish!

Multi-Strand Beading

Projects vary! Choose a multi-strand necklace between
16 and 20 inches long, or a multi-strand beaded watch-
band, or bracelet! You will learn about various findings,
and how to attach multi-strand projects to single-strand
clasps. Also covered
are valuable design tips on mixing
colors, materials,
focal and accent beads, and tips on finishing.

various beads on waxed cotton or monofilament.
Learn how to end
with cones and attach clasp.
This is a fabulous
way to use up left over beads.
No experience necessary.

Bead Weaving

two tubes of #8 and one tube of #11 in colors
of your
choice; one Silamide
thread card, a needle, and a clasp.
The
project will be a spiral beaded bracelet which
will be started in the first class, and finished at home.
You will need a follow-up visit at no additional cost, at
your convenience for attaching the clasp. Bead weaving
produces a complex look that is actually very easy to do.
You will learn tips and techniques on mixing bead size
and color to enhance your pattern; how to extend thread;
and how to attach the clasp.
